Structure
Built to last... from the ground up
Every Greenfinch Glamping Pod is engineered with longevity, comfort and performance in mind. The structure is precision CNC-machined from highly acclaimed Finnish WISA spruce, chosen for its strength, stability and durability. Solid C24-grade timber base runners and a marine plywood underfloor provide a robust foundation designed to perform year after year in demanding outdoor environments.
Aesthetic
Designed to belong in the landscape
Externally the pod is clad in feather-edge larch fitted over a breathable airflow membrane. This natural timber weathers beautifully over time, allowing the pod to blend effortlessly into its surroundings while maintaining excellent protection from the elements. A larch-decked front porch creates a welcoming entrance and extends the living space outdoors.
Year-round performance
Cosy and comfortable, whatever the season
Insulated with 100mm of natural sheep's wool in the walls and floors, our pods deliver outstanding thermal performance while remaining breathable and environmentally conscious. Electric underfloor heating in the living area, paired with a digital thermostat, ensures consistent warmth, while a heated towel rail adds cosy comfort to the bathroom. A modern LPG combi-boiler provides instant hot water on demand.
Interiors
Considered, practical and finished to the highest standards
Inside the pod is finished with redwood tongue-and-groove wall cladding complemented by plastered and wallpapered bedroom walls for a refined, homely feel. Top quality LVT flooring runs throughout, combining durability with a premium appearance - ideal for high-traffic holiday use.
Bathrooms
Hotel-level space and comfort
The full en-suite bathroom is spacious and well-appointed. It features a full-size RAK toilet, vanity unit with Bristan mixer tap and a generous 800mm Mira Flight shower tray with Mira mixer bar shower, offering hotel-level comfort rather than camping compromises.
Kitchens
Fully equipped, convenient and capacious
Every pod comes with a high quality fitted kitchen with solid oak worktops, a stainless steel sink, full-size fan-assisted electric oven, two zone induction hob and a fridge-freezer. This allows guests to enjoy comfortable self-catering without limitation.
Technology
Modern tech, seamlessly integrated
The pod is fully wired with Cat 6 cabling to all TVs and an internet-ready connection, ensuring fast, reliable connectivity. An integrated entertainment package includes Bluetooth audio speakers and Samsung LED TVs in both sleeping and dining areas - perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. Chrome BG Nexus electrical fittings with USB sockets and discreet reading lights complete the package.
Furnishings
Ready to enjoy from day one
A carefully selected furniture package completes the pod, if desired, including a comfortable double bed and mattress, double bed settee, oak dining table and chairs, floating oak shelves and co-ordinated bathroom accessories. This allows the pod to be operational immediately upon installation. All items are chosen to fit perfectly with the layout.

How do I order?
The best way is to contact us directly! Then we can discuss location, intended use and specifications to tailor your quotation.
What if my land is in an AONB or Conservation Area?
These areas are subject to stricter planning controls and sensitive design and appropriate materials are critical. We are happy to provide relevant detail to support your applications.
Are your pods bespoke
Yes! Each pod can be specified to suit your requirements from internal layouts to external finishes whether you are building a boutique holiday let or a private countryside retreat.
What foundations are required?
Common options include ground screw systems, concrete pads or engineered timber bases. We are happy to advise on the most suitable solution for your chosen pod and site conditions.
Do I need planning permission?
For commercial pods PP is usually required, especially if there is a change of land use. Some garden pods may fall under permitted development. Speak to your local planning authority if you are not certain
Can I connect my pod to mains services?
Yes. Our pods are built for simple connection to mains electricity, water and drainage and standard LPG cannisters.
